Metodo Classico sparkling wine from Pinot Noir grapes grown in a vineyard located in the municipality of Rocca de’ Giorgi. The vineyard was once owned by the Duca family.
This more than 40 years-old steep slope vineyard is the highest of our estate: located at an altitude of 540 m AMSL facing north and north-west, it’s subject to a wide temperature variation between day and night. The vineyard is crossed by the historical Abbott’s Way: the three stylised abbots on the march featured on the label are a reference to that.
Our Poggio dei Duca ages 48 months on the lees. It fully expresses our sparkling wine philosophy: respect for the identity of the grape, crisp acidity and strong minerality, coming from the geological nature of the soil.
Contains sulphites.
Produced in Italy.
