We have created two new wines from Pinot Noir and Riesling grapes to celebrate the 60th anniversary of our winery. We are really in love with both grapes and our main present and future projects are based on them. The new wines will carry the name of a historic label of our winery: Viticoltori in Montecalvo (vine-growers in Montecalvo).
The Pinot Nero Viticoltori in Montecalvo is crafted from the highest and oldest of our estate vineyards. The wide difference in temperature between day and night ensures a perfect ripening of the grapes and the development of a great acidity that helps the ageing potential of this Pinot Noir.
After the alcoholic fermentation, the wine is transferred into Austrian oak barrels where the malolactic fermentation occurs. The wine ages for 6-months in these barrels and for 6 months in bottle before release.
Contains sulphites.
Produced in Italy.
