The historical Villa Canestrari winery has organized a tasting dedicated to the Pinot Noir based Metodo Classico sparkling wines from Oltrepò Pavese. The event will take place in Illasi (VR) and will be hosted in the halls of the local Wine Museum (via Castello 20). The tasting will be led by winemaker Luigi Andreoli and will feature our Cruasé Vintage Pas Dosé and other five Metodo Classico sparkling wines produced by the F.lli Giorgi, Quaquarini, Ca’ del Gè and Bruno Verdi wineries, all members of the Distretto del Vino di Qualità dell’Oltrepò Pavese.

Price of the event is euro 35 and includes the wine tasting and a tasting of local food.
A bottle of Villa Canestrari wine will be given as a gift to all attendees.

The 2016 Slow Wine guide will be presented to the public in Montecatini Terme (PT) on October 24th 2015 at the Verdi Theatre at 10:30 am.

A giant tasting of the wines featured in the 2016 Slow Wine guide will be held in the afternoon from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Terme del Tettuccio. Our Metodo Classico Pinot 64, awarded with the Vino Slow prize, will be featured in the wine list of the tasting.
